Where does the flight school list come from?
The list of ATO and DTO organisations comes from the official registers of the Civil Aviation Authority (ULC). PilotHUB syncs the data daily, so addresses, contacts and ratings match the current state of the register.
How do I choose a flight school for PPL(A)?
It is worth comparing several schools (ATO and DTO) by location, ratings offered (e.g. PPL(A), LAPL, night rating), prices and fleet availability. On PilotHUB you can also see ratings from students and - when available - related occurrences from the State Commission for Aircraft Accident Investigation (PKBWL) reports, which helps assess safety culture and operational standards.
Are the school ratings reliable?
Ratings are submitted by portal users (students and pilots). Comments are not published or passed to schools - they are used only to build rankings and recommendations. We encourage adding reviews after completing training.
What are "related aviation events" for a school?
In PKBWL reports each occurrence has an assigned operator (aircraft operator). Often these are flight schools. On a school's page we list occurrences where that organisation was the operator - helping you review incident history and investigation conclusions.
