Flight Instructor – Aeroplane (FI-A) (FI(A))
FI(A) (Flight Instructor – Aeroplane) entitles you to instruct for LAPL(A), PPL(A), VFR night and other ratings (e.g. aerobatics, towing – with additional ratings). Candidate must have min. 200 h flight time (CPL/ATPL) or 150 h PIC (PPL), theoretical knowledge at CPL level.
Prerequisites
- Flight time: min. 200 h (CPL/ATPL) or 150 h PIC (PPL); min. 30 h on SEP, 20 h navigation as PIC, 10 h instrument
- Age: min. 18
- Medical: Class 1
- Qualification flight within 6 months before course
How to obtain
Theory: approx. 125 h (methodology, assessment, training principles). Practice: approx. 30 h flight as instructor. Exam.
Approximate cost
Approx.: theory PLN 4,000–5,000, practice approx. PLN 20,000 (depending on school and aircraft type).
